By entering the competition, each entrant forever and irrevocably releases and holds harmless the event organisers, its parents, subsidiaries and affiliates, and their respective agents, advertising and promotion agencies, UCMF partners and prize suppliers, and all of their respective employees, officers, directors, shareholders, affiliates, and agents from and against all claims, damages, or liabilities arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from entrant’s participation in the UCMF, or UCMF related activities or events, entrant’s Pre-Registration, entrant’s representations and agreements in these Official Rules, and entrant’s award, receipt, or use of any prize awarded in the UCMF.

The event organisers reserve the right, at their own sole discretion, to terminate, modify, or suspend the UCMF at any time.

By entering UCMF, you accept and acknowledge full responsibility for your decision to participate in the UCMF and warrant that you have legal capacity and authority to enter this release.

By participating in UCMF, you forever and irrevocably release and hold harmless the event organisers Urban Country Music Festival. To the full extent permitted by the law, the Relevant Parties will not be liable for any loss, damage, claim, cost, expense or personal injury suffered or sustained (including, but not limited to, that caused by any person’s negligence) by you in connection with the UCMF, including:
– any indirect, economic or consequential loss or loss of profits;
– any loss arising from the negligence of a Relevant Party; and
– any liability for personal injury or death.

On agreeing to the terms and conditions, you are intending to be legally bound hereby, for yourself, heirs, executors and administrators, to waive and release any and all kinds of rights and claims for damages you may have against the owners and organisers of the Urban Country Music Festival and their contractors or sponsors, including the Relevant Parties, for any and all injuries and illness suffered as a result of participating as a competitor in the UCMF.

You acknowledge and accept that participating in the UCMF is not without risk and that your participation is at your own risk.

You warrant that you do not suffer from any medical condition that could affect your ability to participate in the UCMF.
The Relevant Parties reserve the right to take any action necessary in their sole discretion at any time.

All cancellations must be received in writing no later than 72 hours prior to event to admin@urbancountrymusicfestival.com.au.

By entering the UCMF you agree that if requested by a Relevant Party you will:
participate in a promotional photo or video shoot in connection with the UCMF;
the Relevant Parties may record your participation in the UCMF, use your name, image, comments, photographs or clips (“Materials”) for publicity and promotional purposes in any form of media, without reference or compensation to you or any other person;
the Relevant Parties may use, reproduce, edit and communicate to the public the Materials at any time in any form of media;
the Relevant Parties may licence, authorise or otherwise transfer the rights in the Materials to others to do the same; and
you unconditionally and irrevocably consent to any act or omission that would otherwise infringe any of their moral rights in the Materials and waive all moral rights in the Materials.

Allocation of sites will be made to best benefit the event, sponsors and patrons of the event.

UCMF cannot guarantee public attendance at each event The allocated site area is to be used solely for the purpose specified for this event.

No sub-letting will be permitted. Gambling and/or fundraising activities are strictly prohibited unless authorized by the event coordinator.

No selling, canvassing, hawking or distribution or printed or other matter will be permitted outside the area contracted.

Beaut Ute & 4WD Muster vehicles shall leave their allocated area in a clean and tidy state at all times, removing any litter, spills, by-products or equipment from their activities. Should the site require further cleaning or removal of equipment at the conclusion of the event, this expense may be passed onto the Vehicle Owner / Driver (name at time of registration).

All equipment brought into the event is to be the full responsibility of the UCMF participant including shade shelter, signage, tables and chairs unless previously arranged with UCMF.

Items which, in the opinion of Event Organisers, have the potential to cause injury or a nuisance or inconvenience to any other person will not be permitted into the event venue. These include controlled, dangerous or illegal substances, cans, bottles, flares, fireworks, laser pointers, loud hailers and weapons of any description and also include any other items considered by the Manager to have the potential to cause injury or a nuisance or inconvenience to any other person.

Vehicle Owner / Driver (name at time of registration) or passengers of a registered vehicle that display aggressive or abusive behaviour towards event staff, contractors and volunteers or non-compliance with the event Terms and Conditions and site rules will be asked to leave the event site with collection of equipment during designated Bump-Out times. If this occurs, the success of future applications may be affected.

Vehicle Owner / Driver (name at time of registration) must familiarise themselves with the event’s emergency procedures and protocols and must adhere to all relevant local regulations. The event organisers reserve the right, at their own sole discretion, to terminate, modify, or suspend UCMF at any time and alter, edit or change these Terms and Conditions.
