Many locals may remember the Urban Country Music Festival, a successful festival for a number of years. This festival has been revamped and after a 9 year hiatus, will return on Saturday 4 October 2025 at the Caboolture Showgrounds. The event is hosted by 121 Networks Ltd, a not for profit company raising funds to fight homelessness.
This iconic festival returns with a bang – a free launch event with live performances announcing the festival lineup will happen at the Caboolture Country Markets, Caboolture Showgrounds on Sunday 9 February at 10 am. Tickets for the festival will go on sale on Sunday 9 February.
The festival is not only being revived to bring more live music to Caboolture’s door, it is also raising money to support homelessness in the region. All proceeds and funds raised will go directly to the Angelus Community who provide safe and stable housing solutions for those in need in the Moreton Bay City region.
Leading the revitalisation of this event, Eric Whitehouse knows that the original was a big hit with country music fans and Moreton Bay City residents and explains the new festival combines entertainment and affordable family fun with a real purpose – tackling this serious issue in our community.
“Caboolture is where the city meets the country and it is no mistake that we have the most successful showgrounds in South East Queensland, attached to the nationally recognised Queensland State Equestrian Centre. This Event always belonged here and it is great to see the community take ownership and bring it back.” Councillor Adam Hain, City of Moreton Bay Division 3 stated.
“The Urban Country Music Festival will be a great opportunity for this region and we are excited to announce the event including the line up on Sunday 9 February,” Eric Whitehouse said.
Entry to the launch event is free and bookings are not required.
